Six nonprofits are in the running for Florida Power & Light Community Star in the 2018 Stars of the Space Coast Awards. They are:
- Brevard County Legal Aid
- Blast Off Performing Arts
- Community of Hope
- Down the Road Thrift
- The Orion Foundation
- Space Coast Health Foundation
