Tim Carroll, contact center manager for 2-1-1 Brevard, has earned the designation of Certified Call Center Manager.
Also a Certified Addiction Specialist, Carroll previously worked for more than 17 years as a substance abuse counselor. He also worked as a 2-1-1 helpline specialist from 1999 to 2009 and rejoined the nonprofit in May 2014 as a manager.
“Nonprofits can benefit and improve from the lessons of the for-profit world and provide better service with better practices and better managed costs,” said Libby Donoghue, 2-1-1 Brevard executive director.
Carroll’s new designation was awarded after completion of an intensive training program by RCCSP Professional Education Alliance, a leader in certifications for the call-center industry.
